Esse Skincare is preparing to add a new Protect Oil (£49) to its range of sensitive products.
The product contains Ximenia oil sourced from Namibia, which is designed to protect sensitive skin from environmental damage.
Ximenia oil is made up of 20% fatty acid ximenynic, which contains triple bond in the carbon chains that when exposed to UV light or free radicals reacts and forms a protective polymer.
The oil’s long chain of fatty acids also help form a protective layer on skin, while its ability to increase blood flow helps deliver nutrients and oxygen more efficiently to the complexion.
Established in 2002 all of its ranges are Vegan and Peta certified.
The new oil product is set to launch at the end of May and will be available via esseskincare.co.uk.
