Gazelli harnesses benefits of volcanic mud
Launches Triple Youth Volcanic Mud Revitalising Mineral Mask
Azeri spa brand Gazelli Skincare is strengthening its appeal among younger consumers with the launch of Gazelli Triple Youth Volcanic Mud Revitalising Mineral Mask. The brand's line-up already includes a Gazelli Triple Youth White Oil Ultra Nourishing Saviour Mask, but the new mask is said to be suitable for consumers looking for a purifying, rather than an anti-ageing effect. The pale mineral-blue packaging – a departure from Gazelli's usual white and silver branding – has been designed to reflect the product's younger target demographic.
Azerbaijan is home to over half of the world's mud volcanoes, with 400 dotted long the coastline of the Caspian sea. The mud volcanoes are a unique natural phenomenon; they ignite upon eruption, which is followed by a flow of mud, which has a silk-like feel, high natural mineral content, and is rich in anti-bacterial agents and antioxidants.
The Volcanic Mud mask contains a Volcanic Mud Complex, unique to Gazelli, which is claimed to draw out toxins and enrich the skin. It also contains hydrolysed collagen and hawthorn fruit extract, which work to stimulate skin's elastin and collagen production, and to support cell renewal.
The mask should be applied to the face for 10-15 minutes twice a week for best results. It can also be used on the backs of hands to brighten and smooth the appearance of skin.
Gazelli Triple Youth Volcanic Mud Revitalising Mineral Mask costs £40 and is available via Urban Retreat at Harrods, The Josh Wood Atelier and online at www.gazelliskincare.com.
