Beauty giant Johnson & Johnson (J&J) has signed an agreement with e-commerce heavyweight eBay.
Distributed through We Are Pentagon, the site will now stock the conglomerate’s top selling brands including Johnson & Johnson, Neutrogena, Aveeno, Regaine, Listerine, Nicorette and Johnson’s Baby.
eBay’s Head of Fashion Lizzi Thomas said: “Collaborations like these are a really important step in helping brands reach new customers and test new product propositions.
“We’re delighted to have We Are Pentagon selling Johnson & Johnson ranges on eBay to meet the demand that exists for their products on our platform.”
The new deal comes after eBay announced plans to strengthen its ‘buy it now’ beauty initiative, which it hopes will encourage brands to sell on the site.
In its fashion and beauty category, eBay is said to attract 6.3 million registered users a week and, according to the company, a new make-up product is purchased every two seconds.
