L’Oréal unveils new sustainability commitments for manufacturing, production and sourcing

French beauty giant L’Oréal has announced new sustainability targets for the its portfolio of cosmetics and fragrance brands.

As part of The L’Oréal Sustainability Commitment project, it plans to upgrade its commitment to sustainability across four key areas: Innovating sustainably, covering NPD, sourcing and packaging; Producing sustainably, covering manufacture and production; Living sustainably, which includes consumer awareness to sustainability, social impacts and environmental results; and Developing sustainably, which includes equal opportunities, supplier sustainability initiatives and employee benefits.
