My Little Paris co-founder launches new bespoke lifestyle beauty box service

Seasonly combines natural skin care and wellness treatments

My Little Paris co-founder Fany Péchiodat has launched Seasonly, a bespoke skincare beauty box service.

It is accompanied by the Seasonly Slowdown Studio, located on the top floor of 2 rue de la Lune, Paris, which offers a ‘disconnection' experience combining massage, meditation and sound.

Seasonly uses an algorithm to create a skincare treatment – made from 97% natural ingredients – based on the answers to a few questions.

Website visitors tell the algorithm their age, what products they currently use, their postcode (to consider local pollution levels) and how many hours sleep they get each night.

The formulations are based on three actives to meet skin requirements plus a seasonal variant which, for autumn, is sesame seed.

Every two months, subscribers then receive a 30ml bottle of product - personalised with their own name - nestled in a small box, at a cost of €34.

The Seasonly Slowdown Studio, meanwhile, is envisaged as a place of relaxation, offering sessions of relaxing or invigorating massages, meditation, yoga and lunch in a spa-like studio space and rooftop terrace overlooking the city.

Péchiodat, formerly of L’Oréal, started My Little Paris in 2008 as a newsletter to 50 friends and soon found herself with 800,0000 subscribers.

In 2014, she sold a portion of the company to media group Au Feminin for an undisclosed sum (rumoured to be at least €24m euros), then left the company last year to create Seasonly.

The beauty box world is not new to her, however: My Little Paris has been offering the My Little Box beauty box since 2011, containing items such as skin and body care, pillow sprays, herbal teas and accessories.
