Further beauty concessions are planned to open at the UK supermarket’s stores in Norwich and Bradford in October 2025

Holland & Barrett has launched a new concession in UK supermarket chain Morrisons as it doubles down on its retail expansion plans.

The health and wellness retailer’s new beauty and health concession opened at Stockport Cheadle Heath store, which will be operated by Holland & Barrettstaff at its own till point.

Concessions in Morrisons’ Norwich store and E5 store in Bradford will also open in October.

“This new partnership with Morrisons reflects our ambition to make Holland & Barrett’s trusted product expertise and innovation available for everyday customers,” said Anthony Houghton, Group CEO at Holland & Barrett.

"Our continued growth into small format and concession sites with our selected partners is another positive step forward in our commitment to making health and wellness more accessible for everyone."

It follows the British retailer unveiling a “major transformation” of its beauty business in September to become the UK’s go-to health and wellbeing retailer.

The ‘inside-out’ store concept has been piloted at six H&B stores over the past three months to create more immersive spaces to support skin and hair health.

Holland & Barrett will be rolling out this new beauty format into more UK city stores in 2026, alongside announcing new brand partnerships and innovations.

The retailer also overhauled its leadership structure in 2024 and appointed Houghton, formerly the retailer’s COO, as CEO of its UK and Ireland division.

Alex Dower, the company’s former group CCO, is currently leading the company’s global strategy as international CEO.
