Oat Cosmetics gains Ecocert approval

OC Oat Oil and CP Oat Avenanthramides ingredients certified natural

Recently formed supplier Oat Cosmetics has gained Ecocert certification for the natural origins of its OC Oat Oil and CP Oat Avenanthramides ingredients. Oat Cosmetics works in partnership with Canadian company Ceapro Inc, which researches the function of oats on skin and hair. Ingredients are either extracted using green extraction technology or processed to preserve the activity of the oats and lupin crops.

The company also announced that it will be launching new ingredients in the run up to SCS Formulate in Coventry, UK (9-10 November). OC Colloidal Oat Flour and CP Sweet Blue Lupin ingredients will be added to Oat Cosmetics’ portfolio over the next three weeks and documentation has already been submitted to Ecocert for these products.
