Targeting fragrance professionals, offers sustainably sourced essential oils, vegetal oils and floral waters

Robertet, the flavours and fragrance manufacturer, has launched its new online store for organic essential oils.

Targeted at professionals in the fragrance industry, the new site offers a range of sustainably sourced essential oils, vegetal oils and floral waters, with plans to extend its range with absolutes, CO2 extract and more.

The direct channel is said to offer a stable supply and high quality materials for formulators, allowing them to develop products to meet consumer demand for natural and organic products.

Specialising in natural raw materials, Robertet was founded in 1850 in Grasse, France, and today has a presence in more than 50 countries worldwide.

In 2019, rival company Firmenich acquired a minority stake in the family-based company, taking 17% of its share capital, with Firmenich CEO Gilbert Ghostine saying at the time that it was “well positioned to benefit from consumers' continued demand for authentic natural products”.

Robertet reported a 22% increase in sales as of March this year, with growth driven by its raw materials, perfumery and health and beauty categories and strong performance in the US, China, Mexico and the UK.
