Shiseido is to establish a joint venture in the Philippines with Singapore-based luxury distributor, Luxasia in a bid to strengthen its luxury presence in the country.
The new agreement, which will start operations in July next year with Shiseido as the majority owner, is expected to open up new distribution channels for the Japanese company’s luxury portfolio, which includes the Shiseido, NARS and Laura Mercier brands.
