The UK's largest chain of dermatology clinics has ramped up expansion by acquiring rivals

Sk:n Group, Britain’s largest network of dermatology clinics, has acquired rival professional beauty company The Adonia Medical Group.

The deal is the latest in The Sk:n Group’s spending spree, following the acquisition of Destination Skin clinics, The Harley Medical Group and sister companies Flint+Flint Clinics and Skin Health Spa in 2019.

The latest merger with Adonia Medical Group, the parent company of Courthouse Clinics, sees Sk:n Group expand its footprint to over 100 locations across the UK.

Darren Grassby, CEO at Sk:n said: “This is another great addition to our portfolio, which will allow us to reach into new clinic locations while adding greater diversity to our group.

“Our aim is to continue to grow and to develop while continuing to offer the same levels of service and support to all our clients and staff.”

Sk:n rolled out its aggressive expansion strategy after it was acquired by private equity firm Trispan in February 2019.

Paul Wilkinson, Director at The Adonia Medical Group, described the deal as a “fantastic opportunity” for all of the company’s employees and business development.
