Fashion and jewellery brands, and even KFC, are known to use digital influencers for marketing purposes but Japanese skin care brand SK-II has become the first in beauty to develop its own virtual personality.

Yumi, as the virtual face is known, was created in partnership with Soul Machines and aims to connect SK-II's products with a new generation of consumers.
