Pantene has appointed US singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini as its latest brand ambassador.

The ‘If You Go Down’ singer will promote the P&G-owned brand’s upcoming new products, which have yet to be announced, in a campaign set to air in early 2024.

She will also feature in social media content for P&G covering topics such as hair health.

This includes a challenge where she will only use Pantene hair products for 12 weeks, sharing her experience on social media and encouraging fans to join in the challenge.

“I am beyond excited to kick off this partnership with Pantene, and I can’t wait to take my fans along for the ride,” said Ballerini.

“If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that my hair has been through it over the past few years.

“I decided it’s time for a fresh start for my hair, which is why I’m working with Pantene to repair the damage and bring it back to health.

“I ask a lot from my hair, and I need it to be healthy so it can keep up.”

Ballerini joins DJ Clara Amfo, Saturday Night Live star Chloe Fineman and reporter and disability activist Lucy Edwards as Pantene ambassadors.

Who is Kelsea Ballerini?

Ballerini launched her music career in 2014, when she released her debut single ‘Love Me Like You Mean It’ and studio album The First Time.

She has gone on to produce hits across the US country music charts with songs including ‘If You Go Down’, ‘Half of My Hometown’ and ‘Miss Me More’ and has also garnered a Grammy nomination for her single ‘Heartfirst’.

Outside of her music career, Ballerini has served as a judge on US reality show The Voice, and released a book of poetry, Feel Your Way Through, in 2021.

The 30-year-old is no stranger to a beauty campaign, being named as the face of cosmetics brand CoverGirl last year.
