The deal is part of Texen’s strategy to build an ‘ecosystem’ of partner companies in the cosmetics packaging sector
Texen, the France-based cosmetics packaging manufacturer, has signed an exclusive sales agreement with cosmetics brush and applicator specialist CPI, headquartered in the US.
The agreement, which was announced on the first day of this year's MakeUp in Paris trade show (22-23 June), is part of Texen’s strategy to build an ‘ecosystem’ of partner companies to expand its global reach.
Olivier Salaun, CEO of PSB Industries and Acting President of Texen’s Luxury and Beauty division, said: “With this exclusive partnership, we are significantly expanding our make-up offer. We will now be able to offer our customers turnkey mascara products and reinforce our strategic position on this market.”
Based in New Jersey, family-owned CPI operates a production facility in China. It has been a specialist in the make-up brush and applicator market for more than a decade.
