Univar and Dow PS&F sign European distribution agreement

Univar to become sole European distributor of Carbowax Sentry


Chemical distributor Univar has signed an exclusive agreement with Dow Polyglycols, Surfactants and Fluids (Dow PS&F), a division of The Dow Chemical Company, to distribute its Carbowax Sentry polyethylene glycols in Europe.

The agreement covers 27 European Union countries, and the product will be available in liquid, powder, granular and flaked forms as well as a wide range of viscosities and melt points.

“Working with Univar as sole European distribution partner will improve the consistency of service to our customers in the region and also allow us to work more closely with them to help develop meaningful and bespoke product solutions instead of simply delivering a product from a warehouse,” commented John Hammer, Dow NAA product marketing manager for polyglycols.
