Caroline Hirons’ professional beauty brand, Skin Rocks Pro, has launched its first permanent UK training hub to “give facialists the knowledge, confidence and authority they need” to deliver exceptional treatments.
The beauty authority’s Skin Rocks Pro Academy opened in London on 17 March, aiming to deliver the brand’s BABTAC [British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology] and CIBTAC [Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology]-endorsed professional training to UK facialists.
The training hub investment follows the launch of Skin Rocks Pro in 2025 – professional-only products for use in beauty salons and clinics – a complementary line to Hirons’ consumer skin care brand, Skin Rocks, which launched in 2022.
“Opening the Skin Rocks Pro Academy has always been part of the plan,” Hirons told Cosmetics Business.
“The response to our seven ‘immersion days’ across the UK made one thing very clear: there is huge demand for high-quality, hands-on education for facialists, and crucially, for support that continues long after the initial qualification.

“I started my career as a facialist [28 years of expertise as an advanced aesthetic therapist], so I know first-hand that they are the backbone of real skin results.
“The academy exists to give facialists the knowledge, confidence and authority they need to deliver exceptional treatments.”
Hirons secured strategic investment last year to fuel the company’s global expansion, which included aiding the expansion of Skin Rocks’ professional offering.
