Westfield Corporation has interests in 34 shopping centres in the US and UK
Westfield, the shopping and dining destination, has announced it will soon open a World Trade Center location in New York, US.
The majority of retail stores in the new shopping centre will be open by 16 August. The centre will have 365,000sqft of retail space with more than 100 fashion, beauty, lifestyle and technology brands from both domestic and overseas companies.
Cosmetics companies at the shopping centre include: Aesop, The Art of Shaving, Kiko, Rituals, Penhaligon's, Sephora, Caudalie, Kiehl’s, MAC and Dior Cosmetics.
Westfield hopes to tap into the footfall of 60,000 residents, 300,000 daily commuters and 15 million tourists expected to visit the World Trade Centre area by 2017, including to visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, and 1 WTC Observatory.
