Stability and specifications Testing - Our methods include chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses. We ensure your products remain effective and safe. Olalla Consulting conducts thorough stability testing to guarantee the integrity of your formulations throughout their shelf life. Products undergo accelerated aging at controlled, varying temperatures (4°C, 25°C, 40°C). This simulates long-term storage conditions, predicts shelf life, and identifies potential degradation issues such as phase separation, viscosity changes, or ingredient breakdown. Exposure to simulated sunlight and UV light replicates real-world conditions. It assesses the impact on colour, texture, and active ingredients, ensuring the product maintains its appearance and efficacy upon exposure to light during storage and use. Products undergo repeated freeze-thaw cycles to assess their stability under extreme temperature fluctuations. This testing helps identify potential issues such as emulsion breakdown, crystallization, or changes in texture, ensuring product integrity in diverse climates.
Claims Substantiation - We employ a range of efficacy tests, including in-vitro and in-vivo studies, to scientifically validate product claims. Consumer testing gathers real-world feedback through sensorial evaluations, home-use trials, and structured surveys to uncover how end users perceive your product’s performance, aesthetics, and overall experience. These insights help you validate marketing claims, refine formulations, and drive consumer confidence before launch. Clinical testing involves controlled trials with human volunteers under
medical supervision to generate robust safety and efficacy data. These studies provide objective, instrument-based and dermatologist-evaluated metrics that underpin high-value claims and satisfy stringent regulatory expectations.
Regulatory compliance - We provide reliable advice and technical support to ensure your products meet all necessary requirements, enabling a smooth and efficient time-to- market. Ingredient Compliance Reviews, SDS Authoring, Toxicology Reports, Safety Assessments, Labelling Reviews, CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal). Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSR): Preparation of detailed safety assessments in compliance with EU Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 and other regional requirements. Product Information File (PIF/DIP) Development: Compilation and maintenance of compliant documentation for your products.
