Procter & Gamble sweeps the board at 2010’s Product of the Year Awards, again
Personal Care giant Procter & Gamble had a successful night at last night’s Product of the Year Awards at The Royal Opera House, walking away with four C&T accolades.
Personal Care giant Procter & Gamble had a successful night at last night’s Product of the Year Awards at The Royal Opera House, walking away with four C&T accolades.
The company scooped awards for Hair Removal, for Venus Embrace; Shampoo & Conditioner, for Head and Shoulders Hydrating Smooth & Silky; Hair Colour, for Clairol Nice n Easy Permanent Hair Colour; and Toiletries, for Gillette Series Shave Gel.
Boots also did well, taking home the Tanning award for its Soltan Once Face with Gradual Tanner and the Beauty award for its Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum.
The other C&T winners were Sara Lee, its Radox Experience Africa Shower Gel taking home the trophy for Body Care and JML which scooped the General Grooming award for its quirky Ped Egg product.
Product of the Year ceo, Mike Nolan, hailed the evening as a great success saying: “These are tough times for consumers and manufacturers alike in the UK which means adding independent recognition of a product’s reliability and usefulness is a power tool and has tangible benefits.”
