proDERM – a review of in-cosmetics in Milan
Milan and cosmetics - what at first glance may not have all that much in common actually goes together quite well, for both the Milan fashion world and the cosmetics industry are characterized by consumers who wish to be beautiful. "Beauty" is subjective and abstract, but is measured in cosmetic research by specific parameters. Age spots, wrinkle depth, skin elasticity - these are just some of the many possible indicators of beauty.
In response to the consistently high demand for new beauty products, raw material developers and cosmetic manufacturers make large investments in research. This year’s in-cosmetics theme, "Formulating new beauty", describes this situation well.
A field characterized by investment and innovation needs contract research organizations which are capable of pioneering work and which can substantiate complex claims using similarly innovative technologies. Therefore, this year, our presentation focused on our non-invasive technologies of confocal microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and proDERM USR-CliP.
Detailed information on active substance penetration, non-invasive in-vivo determination of significant parameters, photographic evidence of innovative claims such as "attractiveness" ... Discussions revealed that the possibilities of these methods have attracted great interest and that the demand for our Innovation Seminar conducted by Dr. Véranne Charbonnier was correspondingly high.
Milan and cosmetics – this year, it was a really beautiful combination for us!
We would be happy to send you the handout for the seminar on request. If you would like these materials, please contact our Marketing Manager Sascha Faust (SFaust@proDERM.de). We have briefly addressed the advantages and possibilities of confocal technologies in a publication that you can download from this link.
