Revlon has named its new VP of Marketing Innovation, Global Professional Hair.
Ariadne Oliveira, who is based in Barcelona, joined the New York-based beauty business on 24 November and will lead the women's hair care and styling division.
Oliveira aims to drive innovation and growth across the Revlon Professional category and brings more than 25 years of beauty experience.
"I am truly honoured to join Revlon Professional at such a pivotal time for the company and the industry,” said Oliveira.
“The professional hair category has immense potential, and I am excited to unlock new opportunities for growth and creativity.
“Together with this talented team, I look forward to building on the strength of our iconic brands, deepening our connection with consumers and customers, and driving innovation that inspires and empowers the global hair community."
Oliveira has spearheaded global brand revitalisations and business turnarounds across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Her approach to marketing and deep commitment to innovation have “consistently driven excellence in brand-building”, the brand owner stated.
Charles Waters, President of International at Revlon, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Ariadne to Revlon.
“Her proven track record of driving transformation, coupled with her passion for innovation and multicultural perspective, makes her the ideal leader to take Revlon Professional to the next level.
“Oliveira’s energy, creativity, and vision will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our global presence and deliver exceptional value to our customers and consumers.”
Oliveria’s appointment follows Revlon announcing its plans to launch a fragrance for Champion, the sportswear brand owned by Authentic Brands Group.
The licensing agreement will see Champion’s first scents hit shop shelves in 2027.
