Dr Stefan Beckmann is the new head of care chemicals and formulators Europe unit at BASF. He succeeds Dr Friedrich Seitz who is to head up the company’s competence center chemicals research & engineering.

Beckmann has worked with BASF since 1992 in a variety of roles in Germany and Asia (Malaysia and China).
