Wisconsin based plastic injection moulding specialist re-acquires Innovation Center

Wisconsin based plastic injection moulding specialist SussexIM has purchased the Albéa Group's North American cosmetic compact business. In 2010, SussexIM completed a management buyout from Rexam's Plastic Packaging group, prior to Rexam's selling its personal care product unit to Albéa and this new transaction includes the re-acquisition of SussexIM's Innovation Center, which is said to offer customers cutting edge innovation and product development expertise.

SussexIM's President and founder, Keith Everson, said: “With the purchase of our cosmetic production assets, we can seamlessly and efficiently serve this exciting industry and deliver the quality, experience and return on investment SussexIM has long been known for.”

The company’s Innovation Center, which had been moved to another facility, will return to SussexIM’s headquarters. “The return of these development resources and flexible innovation capabilities to our home base will help facilitate new cosmetic product development,” Everson added. “Our Innovation Center has been an important resource for leading cosmetics industry firms.”
