The beauty retailer’s latest London-based store merges its natural-based products with advanced technologies to deliver a new kind of experience

The Body Shop has opened a new experience store in London’s Oxford Street, UK, as part of its ongoing transformation plan.

The store, situated in one of the UK’s premiere shopping destinations, brings the brand’s latest technology and advancements to shoppers, alongside its signature range of naturally-based beauty products.

It features the brand’s full product range, as well as offering in-store exclusives across bath and body, face and skin care, hair care, make-up and fragrance.

The store will also offer regular masterclasses at the ‘Skincare Experience Table’ – a circular table space with built-in sinks and mirrors where customers are encouraged to test and play before purchasing.

The 391 Oxford Street-based location is also offering artificial intelligence (AI)-led skin analysis consultations, which is exclusive to the store.

The tool identifies individual skin care concerns and provides product recommendations to support.

Visitors can also explore the store’s Scent Piano – an interactive space which helps customers uncover the brand’s scent offerings while learning the stories behind each fragrance.

Earlier this year, The Body Shop made a bid to return to the US following closing doors across the market in 2024 through a dedicated online store and a digital storefront on Amazon.

In late 2024, the brand shared plans for a global ‘market by market’ comeback after being saved from administration by Retail tycoon Mike Jatania’s Auréa consortium.
