Four new scents will launch in July

Union is set to launch a new perfume collection this July, which celebrates the best of the British Isles.

Using ingredients sourced from some of the country’s oldest estates, Union’s creative perfumer, Anastasia Brozler, has created four unisex fragrances – Holy Thistle, Quince, Mint and Moss, Celtic Fire and Gothic Bluebell.

Holy Thistle uses oils extracted from thistle plants sourced from the Kinrara Estate in the Highlands, while Quince, Mint and Moss blends quince fruits from Somerset with soft Irish moss and mountain ash from Sterling.

Celtic Fire harks back to the fens of County Derry and boasts rich and smoky undertones with a surprise hit of Marmite, birch tar from Inverness-shire and bog myrtle from Fife.

Lastly, Gothic Bluebell, described as “dark and dreamy”, uses bluebell oil from the Welbeck Abbey in Nottinghamshire, violet leaf from Devon and ground ivy from the Dorset woodlands.

The collection will be available to buy in selected department stores for £125 for 100ml.
