Running from 27 July to 17 August, the activation showcases Le Monde Gourmand's gourmand fragrance collection, including (new launch) Banane Délice, Crème Vanille and Lait de Coco, using iRomaScents' AI-powered fragrance discovery platform.
Rather than relying on the traditional trial-and-error approach to fragrance shopping, visitors complete a short AI-guided questionnaire that analyses their fragrance preferences before recommending the scents most suited to their individual profile.
The recommended fragrances are then sampled instantly through iRomaScents' touch-free smart fragrance station.
The activation demonstrates how artificial intelligence is transforming fragrance retail by creating a faster, more personalized and engaging discovery experience for consumers while helping brands better connect shoppers with fragrances they are more likely to love.
For the beauty industry, the activation also highlights the commercial potential of AI-powered fragrance discovery. Traditional fragrance counters typically achieve conversion rates of 5–10%, whereas iRomaScents' technology has demonstrated the ability to increase conversion rates to over 90% by helping consumers discover fragrances aligned with their personal preferences in under a minute.
"Consumers today expect personalisation in every aspect of the shopping journey, and fragrance should be no exception. By combining AI with intelligent fragrance discovery, we're helping brands and retailers create a more engaging experience that benefits both consumers and commercial performance. This activation with Le Monde Gourmand at Sephora Marbella demonstrates how technology can reimagine fragrance retail without changing the magic of discovering a new scent."- Avner Gal, CEO, Co-Founder, iRomaScents
The collaboration between Le Monde Gourmand, Sephora Marbella and iRomaScents provides a live example of how retailers and fragrance brands are embracing intelligent technology to modernise one of beauty's most traditional retail categories.
