AkzoNobel forms European personal care distributor network

AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry has announced the formation of a new distributor network in Europe, which will provide an expanded portfolio of technologies and products from the company’s personal care business.


AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry has announced the formation of a new distributor network in Europe, which will provide an expanded portfolio of technologies and products from the company’s personal care business.

The new distribution network will distribute all AkzoNobel and former National Starch polymers and surfactants and includes:

France (and French speaking part of Belgium): Comercial Quimica Masso

Germany (and Austria, Switzerland and Dutch speaking part of Belgium): S. Black GmbH

United Kingdom: S. Black Ltd

Italy: Eigenmann & Veronelli SpA

Spain: Safic-Alcan Especialidades

Scandinavia: Kemi-Intressen AB

Russia : RussoChemie

Central and Eastern Europe: Biesterfeld Chemia Specjalna Sp. z o.o.

South Africa: Chemimpo South Africa (Pty) Ltd

“In all European markets, AkzoNobel Personal Care will directly support global multinational companies as well as some of our major regional accounts,” said Aurelio Schlegel, European Marketing Communications Specialist for Personal Care, AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry. “All other regional customers will be supported via our appointed distributors, who will provide them with a broader and more focused product line to meet all their personal care formulating needs.”
