CBS’ fictional cosmetics brand to be brought to life

Jabot Cosmetics to be launched in the US next month


Hit US soap opera The Young and The Restless, which is shown on cable network CBS, is bringing its fictional beauty brand, Jabot Cosmetics, to life. The Jabot Cosmetics Company first made an appearance on the show 20 years ago and has built up a following over the years, having been a central element in the storylines of some characters.

Story elements to introduce the real Jabot Cosmetics will air on The Young and The Restless on 13 June when a shake-up in leadership at the company leads to the development of a brand new formula that revolutionises the industry. The new product line for the fictional Jabot Cosmetics will mirror the actual development of Jabot Cosmetics.

Jabot Cosmetics, including colour cosmetics and skin care products, will be created and manufactured by leading beauty company Fusion Brands, through a licensing deal with CBS Consumer Products and Sony Pictures Television. They can be purchased by consumers at www.shopjabot.com, www.hsn.com and at Ulta retail locations in the US.
