MAC Cosmetics has confirmed the date it will enter Sephora’s US stores and website.
The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC)-owned make-up brand will enter Sephora US on 2 March – the first time MAC Cosmetics has featured on the retailer’s shelves in its 41-year history.
MAC Cosmetics unveiled the news via an Instagram post with singer and Brand Ambassador Chappell Roan.
In the video, Roan can be seen shaking a black and white Sephora bag, saying “finally”.
MAC Cosmetics will be rolled out at select LVMH-owned Sephora US stores, as well as at Sephora concessions at Kohl’s Inc.

The aim is to bring the cosmetic brand’s products and artistry to even more consumers.
The retail partnership is part of ELC’s ongoing ‘Beauty Reimagined’ turnaround scheme, which is described as a “bold strategic vision to restore the company’s sustainable sales growth and achieve stronger profitability”.
MAC Cosmetics entry into Sephora US was first announced in October 2025, with a vague launch date of early 2026.
During that announcement, Tara Simon, President, The Americas, ELC, said: “This strategic collaboration is the result of years of successful partnership with Sephora in global markets.
“We are deeply committed to delivering Sephora US clients a dynamic shopping experience – both in-store and online – while continuing to innovate, inspire creativity and build community.”
Carolyn Bojanowski, EVP Merchandising at Sephora US, also commented at the time: “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with MAC, giving all Sephora US shoppers access to one of the most iconic brands in beauty.
“MAC’s long-standing commitment to innovation, creativity and self-expression mirrors our mission, and delivers an exciting evolution of artistry offerings for our customers.”
Although this is MAC Cosmetics first time entering Sephora US, the brand already has a presence in Sephora in Canada, Latin America, Europe, APAC and the UK.
