Transdermal patches are increasingly used as delivery platforms for anti-wrinkle, anti-cellulite, detoxification and slimming actives. Doyen Medipharm has responded to this demand with its new generation of transdermal patch manufacturing systems (TMS), which boast multilane operation speeds of up to 250 products per minute per lane and in-line packaging by an HMI controlled platen sealing unit.

The patches are assembled by the TMS and then transferred to the platen sealer where they are packaged into single dose pouches with any faulty pouches separated into an integrated reject station.

The system also offers the user the option to integrate printers, vision inspection systems and end-of-the-line stacking, collating and cartoning modules.
