Exclusive: Hildun and MUA Hannah Martin launch third collaboration

Irish make-up brand Hildun has partnered with make-up artist and Pure Beauty Awards judge Hannah Martin to co-create a collection.

Titled Lumière Capturée, the collection marks the third collaboration between the brand and Martin and introduces the Peptide Pearl Balm, launching in three shades, alongside a returning favourite from Martin’s previous collections.

“All three collabs have featured the Silk to Set Kajal liner Spiced Pecan, it was the firstproduct we created together and is a feature in every collection,” Hildun founder Suzy Griffin Dunne told Cosmetics Business

“It is a cult favourite now and we receive requests all year round for its return.”

Dunne added: “This collection is named Lumière Capturée meaning Captured Light and each shade name is celestial themed, inspired by constellations and the shimmering night sky.

“We wanted to create lip products with a beautiful reflection and shimmering pearls, that capture the light but with a subtle, chic 3D effect. 

“Just like our first ever product – Spiced Pecan, the shimmering copper Silk to Set Kajal liner infused with micro pearls – the balms also have a chic pearl-infused reflective finish.”

Dunne revealed that the Peptide Pearl Balm was originally meant to be part of the second collaboration with Martin, but was held back to allow time to perfect the formula further.

“This formula took the longest to get right as I switched manufacturers from Korea to Italy last year in a bid to create the smoothest finish possible,” Dunne said. 

“I flew to Korea in January 2025 to perfect these balms, brought home the samples after we finalised the shades but after wearing them over time I decided they were just not smooth enough in texture.

“I suffer badly with dry lips and this was really important to me – I wanted something that looked good but also delivered incredible results and ultimately improved the condition of your lips over time.”
