In a LinkedIn post, the company confirmed that Parsonage is “moving on to pursue new challenges”, with Lisa Stone stepping into the Managing Director role with immediate effect.
During her time at KMI Brands, Parsonage grew the team from 15 to 40, and took sales from £11m to over £21m.
Parsonage was behind the launch and growth of hair care brand Noughty.
Herbie Dayal, Chairman of KMI Brands, said in a LinkedIn post:"Rachel has made a significant contribution to KMI Brands during her tenure, first as MD and then as CEO.
“She has built a team and a culture in the company, which is the basis for KMI Brands’ success and which will endure well into the future.
“She has led the company with positivity, enthusiasm and charisma.
“There is no doubt that, going forward, she will be missed by everyone at KMI Brands.”
In a final statement on the LinkedIn post, Parsonage stated: “It has been a privilege to lead KMI Brands, and I am proud of how we have grown as a team, navigated challenges that at times felt daunting, and built a culture that has become the true hallmark of KMI.
“A culture of doing things properly, consistently behaving with respect and kindness, caring about the people who show up to work every day, questioning product efficacy, pushing for products which make a difference to our customers and always asking if what we’re doing can be done with less planet impact.”
Her successor, Stone, moves up from her role as Chief Growth Officer.
Stone first joined KMI Brands in 1999 as commercial manager, bringing over 26 years of experience with the company to her new role.
"I want to start by acknowledging Rachel Parsonage, whose leadership has created the strong platform from which we now push forward," said Stone.
"This next chapter is not about one individual — it is about a driven, talented, and resilient team.
"Their hard work and commitment have powered our success so far, and they will be the engine behind what comes next.
"As Managing Director, my focus is clear: sharpen our core values, strengthen our commercial edge, and build a culture that executes with collaboration, integrity, and pace."
