La Roche-Posay has been named the top clinical beauty brand in 2025 in terms of media value.

The L’Oréal-owned skin care brand had a ‘Media Impact Value’ (MIV) of US$382m for the year, according to software solutions firm Launchmetrics’ 2025 Beauty Industry Growth Playbook.

MIV is Launchmetrics’ benchmark of a brand’s monetary value, based on media mentions across social media channels.

La Roche-Posay’s position at the top reflected the strength of the brand’s “regionally-owned media strategy”, Alison Bringé, CMO, Launchmetrics, told Cosmetics Business.
