For the past 80 years, René Lacoste’s iconic right-facing crocodile has embodied the LACOSTE legend. This year the EAU DE LACOSTE L.12.12 fragrance collection celebrates a new visual and sensory LACOSTE experience.


The LACOSTE heritage

In the mid-1920s, tennis champion René Lacoste manufactured shirts for his own personal use that could withstand the heat on American tennis courts. It was the first time a player discarded long sleeves for a soft and comfortable short-sleeved garment and this is best known today as the classic LACOSTE polo shirt.
