Haus Labs has named its founder, singer and actress, Lady Gaga, as CEO of the beauty brand.
Gaga, whose birth name is Stefani Germanotta, has assumed commercial stewardship of the cosmetics brand, according to a new report by the Business of Fashion.
She has succeeded Ben Jones, co-founder and former CEO, who is said to have departed the business in October.
Jones has an extensive history in beauty, having served as Chief Digital Officer at consumer goods business The Honest Company.
Gaga first unveiled her beauty brand in 2019 under the name Haus Laboratories.
She was the first beauty founder to link a beauty-exclusive deal with online retailer Amazon.
In 2022, she revamped her cosmetics brand with new name, Haus Labs, and fresh branding, reformulating the product line to focus on ‘clean’ formulations and active ingredients.
Outside of her work on Haus Labs, Gaga was recently unveiled to be a co-founder of Outer Bio, a bioactives discovery platform.
It was co-founded alongside US entrepreneur Michael Polansky, and was quietly established around 2020 before publicly announcing itself in August 2026.
It focuses on discovering and testing new approaches to skin health, namely via the company’s discovery platform, Yuna.
