Lipovol MOS 350 an alternative to mineral oil

Lipovol MOS 350 is a unique combination of non-animal derived esters blended to match the aesthetic and textural properties of mineral oil. Initial feel upon application,cushion, slip and rub-out is identical to mineral oil. Lipovol MOS 350 should be used for formulations that need to have the feel of mineral oil but where a mineral oil free or oil free claim is desirable.
Lipovol MOS 350 has a lower HLB requirement, the minerals are therefore easier to emulsify. It is excellent for anhydrous systems where it exhibits superb cleansing properties and for non-ionic emulsion systems where emulsification is much easier to achieve with lower than usual surfactant concentrations. Lipovol MOS 350 is ideally suited for use in all types of emulsions including oil-in-water and water-in-oil.
Enhanced Pigment Dispersing Properties
Lipovol MOS 350 demonstrates superior pigment dispersing properties when compared to other conventional esters and oils utilized in lip product formulations. Lipovol MOS 350 is stable to oxidation, allows for large master batches of pigment grinds, provides excellent gloss, better taste and less odour.
Lipovol MOS 350 outperforms mineral oil in all applications including sunscreens, body creams and lotions, baby care products and colour cosmetics.
