For 2013 in-cosmetics, Lucas Meyer Cosmetics (booth J41) is launching two new active ingredients: Elix-IR™ and Phytenso™.

Elix-IR™ is the first botanical active ingredient designed to fight Infra’aging™ (infrared-induced skin aging), a breakthrough concept in skin photoprotection and photoaging. Underestimated for years, infrared and their generated heat are responsible for loss of firmness and elasticity, leading to premature appearance of wrinkles.

Through its inhibitory action on cathepsin G enzyme, Elix-IR™ reduces IR-, UV-, heat-induced MMPs production and fibre degradation. With outstanding clinical results on sun-damaged skin, Elix-IR™ provides a new strategy for a global action against photoaging and is complementary to classical UV protection.

Phytenso™ is a natural and soft hair straightener proposed as an alternative to aggressive chemical relaxers. Phytenso™ fights frizz, locks out humidity and improved hair’s manageability.

Lucas Meyer Cosmetics will also be presenting its new concept, So’ Buttery, and its four amazing new textures containing ultra-high vegetable butter content
