The Ordinary is hosting a lab-inspired UK pop-up to address beauty “misinformation” and help simplify skin care education for consumers.

Taking place in Shoreditch, London, from 13 to 15 February, The Ordinary Immersive Experience will offer visitors an insight into how clinical research, microbiology and R&D come together to create the brand’s best-selling products.

Visitors will enter a “lab-inspired” space that is designed to engage the senses, demystify common skin care misconceptions and tell the story of how The Ordinary came to be. 

“The Ordinary upholds a commitment to providing transparency and accessibility when it comes to understanding skin care, the science behind active ingredients and its much-loved formulations,” Amy Bi, VP Brand, Deciem, told Cosmetics Business.

“The Ordinary Immersive Experience serves as an opportunity for our community to establish face-to-face connections with our scientific experts, discover new innovation and bring elements of a lab environment to consumers in real life for the very first time."
