Making the most of musk

Narciso Rodriguez has updated his feminine fragrance portfolio with two new versions of his for her and essence scents. Created as a tribute to musk, the designer’s favourite scent, the musc collection fall 2010 has been refined to include a more intense musk element, along with fresh floral notes which are said to provide greater sensuality to the scents.

The limited edition for essence eau de parfum intense is said to blend the purity of the original fragrance with a potent intensity. The designer’s own musk blend remains at the heart of the fragrance and is accentuated with powdery floral iris notes. The iconic silver bottle has also been reworked and now features a graduated smoky finish to the glass.

Forming part of the brand’s permanent line-up, for her eau de parfum intense blends a deeper intensity of musk with ylang ylang, jasmine and orange tree flower.
