Armani Beauty is poised to release a new version of its Pivoine Suzhou fragrance (£120) next month.
Inspired by the Chinese city of Suzhou, the new Pivoine Suzhou Soie de Nacre scent is said to be an ode to the peony flower, which symbolises happiness and femininity, and is infused with nacre flakes.
Its blend of mandarin, pink pepper, orcanox, patchouli and notes of musk also give the scent a spicy and fruity undertone.
Meanwhile, the scent is housed in a glass bottle with a pale pink opalescent formula.
Customers will be able to shop the scent exclusively at Selfridges from 2 October, and it will roll out to armanibeauty.com and stores nationwide in November.
