Clarins has chosen packaging company Texen to create the lids for its My Clarins line of skin care products, appealing to today's eco-conscious consumer.

Targeted at women aged between 18 and 29, the My Clarins range includes products from day creams to sleep masks, using natural and vegan-friendly ingredients.

At its Texen Rose factory, which specialises in skin care packaging, Texen created an injected lid in two parts, using its expertise in injection and precision assembly to give the appearance of a single part.

The lid features a shiny top with a matte inside and lateral areas for a striking contrast, which Texen achieved by applying different treatments to the material inside the mould.

Meanwhile, the lid is designed so that when it is screwed on, the pad-printed logo lines up with the décor on the jar.

This precision was possible thanks to the meticulous tuning of the company's machinery and video monitoring, according to Texen.

Texen created the cap in two different shades – a soft salmon pink and a mint green – to crown Clarins' RE-BOOST hydrating cream and RE-CHARGE sleep mask.
