DSM partners with Knowde on digital storefront

The company will sell 115 personal care ingredients via the site

Ingredients supplier DSM has launched a digital storefront for its personal care products.

To achieve this, the Swiss chemicals company partnered with Knowde, a leading e-commerce site for chemicals, ingredients and polymers.

The Personal Care & Aroma storefront on Knowde will help facilitate a better and richer customer experience, says DSM, thanks to its easy access and great functionality.

Knowde employs a proprietary search algorithm to give buyers the ability to search seller storefronts to find, compare and sample products.

A total of 43 DSM brands and 115 ingredients for markets including skin care, hair care, sun care, bath and body care, colour cosmetics, fragrance, oral care and nail care will be included.

“Digital communication and e-commerce are becoming increasingly important to the chemical industry, and DSM is embracing this transformation and exploring a wide range of possibilities,” said Rishabh Pande, Vice President Marketing & Innovation, DSM Personal Care & Aroma.

“Our new Knowde storefront is an important step that enables us to expand our digital presence and reach and provide an enhanced customer experience.”
