The 18-time Vogue cover star has fronted fashion and beauty campaigns for Chanel, Versace, Calvin Klein and Tory Burch
Imaan Hammam joins Amanda Gorman, Ana de Armas and Adut Akech as Estée Lauder ambassadors
Estée Lauder has tapped Dutch model Imaan Hammam as its latest global brand ambassador.
The 26-year-old star will make her debut appearance for the make-up brand in July of this year.
She is said to have been chosen for her activist work supporting young women and girls as well as her fashion industry stardom, according to the brand.
“Imaan has quickly become an icon in the fashion industry,” said Justin Boxford, Global Brand President at Estée Lauder.
“Aside from her phenomenal energy, charisma, beauty and drive, it’s her passion and dedication to advocating for young women everywhere that deeply connects to our brand’s core values and will help us continue to inspire our consumers globally.”
“I am so honoured to be part of the Estée Lauder family,” added Hammam.
“Estée Lauder has such a rich heritage and some of the most iconic beauty products, but I am most proud to be part of a brand that champions women’s advancement around the world.”
Since making her runway debut in 2013, Hammam has graced the cover of Vogue magazine 18 times, as well as Harper’s Bazaar, WSJ, i-D, Elle and Vanity Fair.
She is no stranger to a fashion and beauty campaign, appearing as the face for lifestyle brand Tory Burch’s latest fragrance collection last year, in addition to working with the likes of Chanel, Versace, Victoria’s Secret and Calvin Klein.
Outside of her modelling career, the star, who is of Egyptian-Moroccan descent, is also an ambassador for non-profit She’s the First, which works to educate and empower girls – a role that saw her named one of Harper’s Bazaar magazine’s Women of the Year in 2020.
