Head of New Product Development - London (Hybrid) - £80K – £100K

Lavandi Talent is currently working with a fantastic FMCG business who are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of NPD to join their creative and innovative business

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating innovative products for a new division of the company.
• Lead on the delivery from concept and ideation to supply.
• Lead the claims testing, managing user trials and clinical testing processes.
• Working with suppliers, and agencies, using insight, and creating sell-in ideas.
• Work and build solid relationships with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and communicate product changes promptly.
• Full Critical Path management to ensure the organisation and delivery of innovative products to a time scale and within budget.
• Create, review, and keep up to date with documentation.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a Product Development environment within Beauty, Personal Care, FMCG or aligned sector.
• Previous experience working with formulas, and claims testing is essential.
• Passionate about products with a strong creative and innovative flair, with commercial acumen and detail orientated when it comes to owning, interpreting and managing a critical path to time, risk and budget.
• Eye for detail, understanding consumer relevant qualities and how to deliver them.
• Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task within a timescale and work efficiently under pressure.
• Confident, adaptable and a team player.
