Leading contract formulation specialist, Here2Grow, has recently worked with award winning London-based hair salon, Purely Natural, to develop a deep conditioning hair treatment specific for afro and mixed textured natural hair - a luxurious 100% organic Nectar Hair Oil handmade with the finest, sweet smelling natural ingredients.

Being one of the few UK formulation laboratories able to design products specifically for the needs of the different skin and hair types including asian, black and caucasian, Here2Grow caught the attention of Purely Natural founder, Anastasia Chikezie, who was searching for a suitable partner to create a natural oil product specifically for afro hair.

From the outset, I was very impressed with Here2Grow’s professionalism and attention to detail. A visit to their laboratory to see what goes on behind the scenes was really beneficial, providing me with full confidence in their capabilities to develop a great product.”
Here2Grow’s step-by-step formulation process for the Purely Natural Nectar Oil lasted 18 months, during which several prototypes were produced and extensive trials undertaken to ensure that the product fully met the development brief. With all ingredients of the formulation needing to be natural and organic, the samples were repeatedly tested for smell, look and viscosity. The final product was successfully launched as part of the Purely Natural range of products, and was met with wide approval by salon customers and retail.
“The product is amazing,” added Chikezie. “I love the texture and the product instantly gives a hit of moisture - it is also easily absorbed and is soft on both hair and skin. Online orders of the oil are going from strength to strength. We have more products planned including shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner.”
