Juvinity delays cell senescence

Sederma’s latest offering is Juvinity, an ingredient designed to fight against signs of ageing due to cell senescence. Based on a complex lipid derived from a key molecule in cell functionality, Juvinity delays both nucleic and metabolic senescence; it reduces oxidative stress and limits telomere shortening, while rebalancing mitochondrial activity and boosting the promotion of ATP synthesis by 76%.

In vitro tests found an increase in collagen<i>After</i>

synthesis of 483% together with a 32% increase in decorin synthesis and a 33% rise in hyaluronic acid synthesis. Meanwhile, in vivo tests showed that Juvinity smoothes wrinkles, restructures and redensifies the skin. Wrinkle depth decreased 26.5% after a month’s treatment.
