Kitsch and colour dominate at Anna Sui

The brand has launched its eponymous cosmetics line in Europe exclusively with online retailer ASOS

American fashion designer Anna Sui has launched her eponymous cosmetics line in Europe exclusively with online retailer ASOS. Its latest autumn/winter collection for 2013, which is said to “embody the kitsch appeal of Anna Sui”, includes limited edition make-up sets, fragrances and a range of items from its recent Disney Minnie Mouse collaboration.

The ‘One Night Only’ Minnie Mouse line is said to blend Anna Sui’s contemporary style with Disney’s collectable pieces. Items include lipsticks shaped like Minnie Mouse, bow-shaped eyeshadow compacts, nail polishes with Minnie engraved figurines and make-up tins.

“The Anna Sui Holiday Collection features one of my favourite characters, Minnie Mouse! All the products have special Minnie Mouse designs and are not only must haves for your own beauty look, but also the perfect gift this holiday season. I especially love the Make-Up Kit. The fun, limited edition tin box has a ribbon-shaped eye compact (the ideal combination of colour and shimmer to create beautiful, defined eyes) and a bold coloured lipstick shaped like Minnie Mouse, which is almost too cute to use,” said Sui.

The Anna Sui Holiday Collection is now available exclusively on ASOS, priced between £15-£39, and will be sold alongside the designer’s popular fragrance line.

In July 2011, Inter Parfums entered into a ten-year exclusive worldwide fragrance licence agreement to create, produce and distribute Anna Sui perfumes and related products. The agreement replaced a previous licence with P&G.
