A new report has said that a lack of regulation within the beauty industry is hampering its growth.
The findings, by Reports and Data , published as Cosmetics Market By Product Type, By Gender, By Distribution Channel and by Region Forecast to 2030, claim that the majority of ingredients are “not regulated”, thus posing a “major challenge” for the sector’s development.
Companies that are using “unsafe” ingredients can “harm the users and this can limit adoption of such cosmetic products”, the report read....
