Drawing inspiration from an English summer, Hollywood and the Himalayas, founder Darrell Wilson’s collection of candles are designed to evoke scents from around the globe

New home fragrance brand Lost In Scent has launched its first-ever collection of candles on the UK market.

The collection of six candles draw inspiration from different destinations across the world (£22 each).

Big Sur’s road-trip inspired scents feature lemon, sage, grapefruit and cedarwood, while Birdsong evokes an English summer, and blends rose, violet and freesia.

Meanwhile, Mulholland Drive’s mix of leather, tuberose and gardenia evoke memories from Hollywood while Wilderness, inspired by forestland from around the world is infused with lavender, rosemary and woodland notes.

Finally, Hebrides’ notes of pepper, tobacco and moorland heather evoke the highland landscape and Himalaya blends vetiver, patchouli and sandalwood to pay homage to the scenes from the Asian mountain range.

The brand’s founder Darrell Wilson previously worked in the retail sector before taking his passion for fragrance to new heights.

He said: “I’ve always been inspired by scent.

“In my past career within the retail industry I worked for big fragrance brands, which taught me some of the foundations of creating fragrance stories and I wanted to take that further by developing my own brand, marrying my love of scent and travel.”

Lost In Scent will also give £1 to Childhope, an international charity for vulnerable and neglected children, with every Himalayan candle sold.

The candles are packaged in simple brown jars with screw tops and are now available to purchase via lostinscent.com.
