The brand has opened a new flagship in Paris

French beauty brand Roger & Gallet has opened a flagship store in Paris at 195 rue Saint Honoré, facing the Church of Saint-Roch.

With an interior created by designer Benedicte de Lescure, who has worked for other prestigious brands such as Caudalie, Renault and Cartier, it was designed to resemble an old style pharmacy with modern touches. The outlet is a return to its roots for the company: from 1932 to 1984, it had a boutique nearby at 32 rue Faubourg St Honoré.

The moulded face of the building has been decorated in white and pearl grey with touches of gold in floral arabesques. Inside, several niches display apothecary jars, while the ‘Soap Wall’ features coloured bubbles and a ‘Table d’Expériences Sensorielles’ displays the brand’s fragrance offering. Lescure, a graduate of the art and design school at Reims, was tasked with translating several of Roger & Gallet’s strongest characteristics into interior design. As the company began as an apothecary, she chose glass globes, classic counters and parquet, ribbon coloramas and little cakes of soap.
