Beauty brand Skin Academy is expanding its consumer audience by introducing a new range of products for consumers with tattoos.

INK’D is designed to protect and care for skin covered by a tattoo, and contains coconut oil, shea butter and vitamin E.

The 3-sku range comprises a body oil, hydrating serum and moisturiser (£7.99 each), which also includes SPF15 to protect tattoos from fading.

Skin Academy’s CEO Antony Wagman said: “We conducted extensive research into the tattoo industry which revealed more and more people are spending money and personal grooming with tattoo parlour numbers nearly tripling in a decade.

“Tattoos have now become mainstream and so it naturally felt right to extend our range and move into this market.”

The products are now available to purchase online via boohoo.com.
